As we already know that Vivo has launched the Vivo X90, X90 Pro, and X90 Pro+ in China last year. Vivo is now planning to launch the Vivo X90S to the existing X90 series of smartphones. Vivo is yet to confirm the launch details but it is expected to be very soon. Even before the official launch, we are seeing some pictures and design of the upcoming Vivo X90S shared by Jia Jingdong, Vice President and General Manager of Brand and Product Strategy at Vivo China.
Looking at the design, Vivo X90S looks pretty similar to the Vivo X90. It will be featuring a triple camera setup on the back arranged in a circular shape, LED flash “Xtreme Imagination” and “ZEISS” written, which means the optics are Zeiss-tuned. White variant of the Vivo X90S might come with a glass back.

A few reports also suggested that the Vivo X90S will be launched in China sometime this month or early next month. Vivo is yet to confirm that, we should also wait for an update from the brand regarding the global launch and availability in India.
Another post on Weibo is talking about the differences between the Vivo X90S and the X90 smartphones. The upcoming Vivo X90S will be coming with a 3.35GHz MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset and the latest Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, on the other hand, Vivo X90 has a 3.05GHz MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset with Wi-Fi 6 connectivity support. Vivo X90S is expected to come with upto 12GB RAM and upto 256 GB of UFS 4.0 flash storage. We might see a 512GB storage variant as well as other Vivo X90 series smartphones gets that.
Vivo X90 is seen in Red, Blue, Black and White colours, Vivo X90S will also be available in all these colours along with a new green colour option as well.
Vivo X90S was previously spotted on Google Play Console and TENAA certification having model number V2241HA. Based on the TENAA listing, Vivo X90S will be featuring a 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The triple camera setup on the back comprises of a 50MP primary camera, 12MP ultra-wide angle camera and a 12MP telephoto lens camera. Under the hood, it will be backed by a 4,810mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
We are yet to receive information related to the Vivo X90S, hopefully in the coming days we should be able to get some official information from the brand.
