MG Motors officially revealed the city friendly MG Comet EV electric car in India along with the prices. It will directly compete with the cars like Tata Tiago EV and Citroen eC3 which are already available in the market.
This car is powered by a 17.3 kWh battery pack with a drive range of 230KM with a single charge.
MG Comet EV comes for an intro price of Rs 7.98 lakh (ex-showroom), this will be available in single variant with dual-tone Apple Green and Starry Black, dual-tone Candy White and Starry Black, Starry Black, Aurora Silver and Candy White colour options.
To talk about the dimensions of the Comet EV, it is 2,974mm long and 1,505mm wide with a wheelbase of 2,010mm. With the very compact design of this car, the turn radius of this car is just 4.2m. MG also claims that with the tall boy design, four adults can sit in the car without any problem, even an individual with 6 ft height can also be seated without any issue.
The motor equipped in the MG Comet EV produces a 42bhp of peak power and 110Nm of peak torque. It takes around 7 hours to fully charge this car using a 3.3kW charger.
