As we already know that Apple is all set to launch their latest flagship iPhone 15 series in the next few months, we are also seeing a lot of leaks every other day regarding the same. Same as the previously launched iPhone 14 lineup, it is expected that the iPhone 15 will also be available in four variants; the vanilla iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max (or could be iPhone 15 Ultra).
It is also known that as soon as a new iPhone line up is launched, some older versions will be discontinued. Some online leaks suggests that this year at least four older iPhone versions will be discontinued by Apple.
Today, the brand is selling the iPhone 14 series, iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, iPhone 12, and iPhone SE (2022). The latest leak also suggests that Apple will discontinue iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, iPhone 12, and iPhone 13 mini after the launch of the iPhone 15 series. Apple have been following this strategy to push the sales of the latest launch versions.
If not discontinued, there will definitely a price cut for the older iPhone models. Below is the current prices the base versions of the existing iPhone models:
-iPhone 14 (128GB storage): Rs 79,900
-iPhone 14 Plus (128GB storage): Rs 89,900
-iPhone 14 Pro (128GB storage): Rs 1,29,900
-iPhone SE (128GB storage): Rs 49,900
-iPhone 13 (128GB storage): Rs 69,900
-iPhone 12 (64GB storage): Rs 59,900
It is also expected that Apple will also launch a mixed-reality headsets for the first time in the upcoming WWDC 2023 event on 5th June, it is also expected that Apple will also showcase new MAC’s with a lot upgraded specifications. The company will also be introducing the latest iOS 17 and iPadOS 17 software versions as well.
