Tata Altroz is already a champion in the premium hatchback segment, Tata is working to update the Altroz lineup by brining new special editions, variants and engine/transmission options. Here is now an official video from Tata showing the latest features added to Altroz. With Altroz, Tata will capture the premium hatchback category with the features being offered within the price range.

In the latest official video released, we can see the top highlights are the air purifier, wireless charger, and a single-pane electric sunroof. Sunroof is seen operated using voice command, we can see the sunroof is operated via voice command in the video, other features; wireless charging pad is located below the central console and the AQI (air quality index ) is also seen on the infotainment system. Altroz is the second car to get the sun-roof in the segment where as the i20 is already offering the sunroof on the top-end variants.
Coming to the engine options, Tata Altroz also launched a new CNG variant, all the new additions will be seen in all engine options includes Petrol, Diesel and CNG. It is also seen that Tata engineered the CNG variant in a brilliant way that the boot space is still available to use without any problem; instead of placing one cylinder, it placed two cylinders to better use the space.
Tata Altroz is now available in four power options. The most popular is the 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine which is capable to generate 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. This is available in 5-speed manual or a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission option.
Other engine option is the 1.5-litre four-cylinder diesel engine coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission which offers 90 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque. It is to be noted that Altroz is the only hatchback available with a diesel engine option.
Tata Altroz has a i-Turbo variant with 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. This engine produces 110 PS of power and 140 Nm of torque. The last option available is the Tata Altroz CNG, which is powered by 1.2-litre petrol engine, delivering 74 PS of maximum power and 103 Nm of maximum torque in CNG mode.
