While Apple is yet to launch their iPhone 15 series smartphones, we already started seeing leaks around the iPhone 16 series, most of them are talking about the camera module designs, a latest report is confirming that the iPhone 16 will have a similar camera setup as the iPhone 12 which was launched in 2020. Apple has a done a lot of changes in the design and the rear camera setup, we saw the major update in the iPhone 11 series, till the iPhone 14 series, camera setup is pretty much the same.
It is now suggested that Apple is going to change the camera alignment with the iPhone 16 series, it is expected to come with a vertical camera setup rather than horizontal one. This will become very easy to identify the latest iPhone and can make it unique. We can also expected the USB Type-C port and Dynamic Island feature which will make even easy to identify the iPhone 16 series.
Apple is expected to launch the iPhone 16 series sometime in 2024, so it is still too far. Apple might change the design as well, so the leaks can be wrong as well until we get some official teaser from the brand. But if the leaks are correct, then definitely iPhone 16 series is going to be unique and can be identified easily.
So we can expected the diagonal camera setup on the iPhone 15 series as well, this would be the last series to feature the diagonal arrangement. The main reason behind the vertical camera layout is to enable the advanced dual-camera system which is why they are working on their older camera layout.
iPhone 16 series is expected to arrive in the later half of the 2024, most probably the lineup will consist of iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max (could be named as iPhone 16 Ultra). We should see lot of advanced specifications and features from the upcoming iPhone 15 series as well, a latest report also tipped that the iPhone iPhone 16 Pro Max/ Ultra will be sporting a much advanced display ever.
As the brand is already working to launch their iPhone 15 series smartphones comprising of iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max. We should receive more official news confirming the launch timeline and the specifications of these smartphones.
