Apple is expected to launch their upcoming iPhone 15 series smartphones sometime this year. A few reports already suggested that Apple will be bringing a lot of upgrades to the upcoming series in the camera department and the chip set as well. The high-end smartphone in the iPhone 15 series; iPhone 15 Pro Max will be sporting a latest periscope camera with the 6x optical zoom capability while the other iPhone 15 smartphones might be coming with a 48MP primary camera. It is also expected that the triple camera design on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be slightly redesigned.
On the other hand, few reports are also suggesting that the all smartphones coming under the iPhone 15 series; iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max will be coming with USB-C port. Additionally, both the Pro versions will also come with a thunderbolt port to offer faster speeds, iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will come with USB 2.0. This initiative is to support the European Commission’s recommendation to make USB-C as a common port for charging. This will be a new add-on to the iPhone series, but there are other Apple products like iMac, MacBook, iPads, Apple TV having a USB C port already. As part of “Made for iPhone” program, Using of any non-certified Apple cables may decrease the charging and data transfer speeds.
To talk about the top highlights of the iPhone 15 series, as already mentioned, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max is expected to come powered by A17 Bionic chipset, iPhone 15 Pro Max might be sporting a periscopic camera. iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are expected to come with a 48MP primary camera.
