She took over the leadership role in January of this year. She further stated that this framework provided by the legislation will become a step which will help to create a balance between innovation and user protection. Meta will, according to her, follow all the needed rules to protect its users and, along with that, will keep its innovation to the peak. It will welcome all the constructive regulations without any hesitations.
It was also pointed out by her that the company is very determined to take down all the misinformation on the platform. Devanathan, the Vice President of Meta India, also said that they are trying to harness AI to pro-actively curb hateful content. Meta is going to proceed with the election integrity efforts.

According to her, the user growth trajectory has a very strong base in the Indian market.
