To show the authenticity of the emails on its platform, Google started showing blue-verified ticks on email senders in Gmail. Google has taken this additional measure to avoid the spam or fake emails.
This feature will be available only for the brands having BIMI (Brand Indicators for Message Identification) which was launched initially by Google in the year 2021. Brands can now take use of this feature to show their brand trust when emails are sent to their customers.
Look for the blue checkmark next to a company's name in your emails to make sure they're the real deal before you respond. Learn more 👉 https://t.co/KIBkdFJOzr pic.twitter.com/Fe5MkBjuXO

This blue tick will act as a visual confirmation for the users that any particular email is from a trusted brand, not from any spam/untrusted source which users can trust. If we hover to the blue-tick icon on an email, it says that the sender verified their google account. This should be available to all the users in the coming couple of days. Not only the business accounts, but individual users can also apply for this blue tick. You can follow this link to know more about this.
