Reliance introduced JioTag device in India, as the name suggests they are a small bluetooth tracking device similar to the Apple AirTag. It is very cheap when compared to the AirTag and very light weighs just 9.5 grams. JioTag is very simple to configure and use, users just have to connect the device to the JioThings app on their smartphone and can attach the tag to their wallet, bag, keys or anything which you don’t want to miss.
JioTag is available for Rs 749 on the official Jio website, However the MRP is seen as Rs. 2199. On the other hand, Apple AirTag is priced at Rs 3,490, JioTag is pretty cheap and will do the same job. Users will also be getting an extra battery and lanyard cable in the box so that users can carry and attach easily.

JioTag is backed by a a replaceable CR2032 battery, Jio claims that it will run for an year. It comes with Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity with range upto 20 meters indoors and 50 meters outdoors. It will be super helpful to locate misplaced items, users just have to double-tap on the Tag and it will give a quick ring on the phone even when the phone is on silent.
JioTag will also be sending a warning notification if they left their wallet, keys or any of the tagged items away from accurate location. JioTag also has a Community Find feature, this will be helpful to users even when the bluetooth connectivity is lost with the device, users can also view the last location before disconnected.
