Xiaomi introduced two latest budget smartphones; Redmi A2, Redmi A2+ in India. Both these smartphones carry pretty much same specifications with a very minor differences which we will cover in the specifications section.

Redmi A2, Redmi A2+ Specifications
Both the Redmi A2 and Redmi A2+ come with a 6.52-inch HD+ water drop notch display and powered by MediaTek Helio G36 processor. They sport a dual camera setup comprising of a 8MP primary camera, QVGA lens and a LED flash on the back. On the front, it comes with a 5MP camera for selfies which is planted in the water drop notch design.
They are backed by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. They run Android 13 (Go edition) out-of-the-box, and 3.5mm headphone jack, a micro-USB port, 4G VoLTE and VoWifi as connectivity options.
One key difference to be noted here is the Redmi A2+ also has a finger print sensor on the back for security which is not seen on the Redmi A2. We will see another difference here, Redmi A2 will be available in 2GB RAM + 32GB storage, 2GB RAM + 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage options while the Redmi A2+ will come only in single 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant.
Redmi A2, Redmi A2+ Price & Availability
Base version of the Redmi A2 with 2GB RAM + 32GB storage is priced at Rs.5,999, second version with 2GB RAM + 64GB internal storage is available for Rs.6,4999 and the last version with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage comes for Rs.7,499. Redmi A2+ with 4GB RAM + 64GB storage is available for a Rs.8,499 price tag.
Sale of both these smartphones will start from May 23rd and can be purchased on the official MI portal, Amazon and other offline stores. They will be available in Aqua Blue, Classic Black, and Sea Green colour options.
